An architect enthusiastic about global ideas and their local implementations
After obtaining her Master’s degree at TU Berlin, Anna Pomazanna worked as a project architect and a project leader of the competition team at the Berlin-based architectural office Kleihues+Kleihues for about four years. She was involved in commercial and cultural projects of various scales at all design stages. In her role as a project leader, she contributed to several prize-winning projects in international competitions, including the revitalization of the industrial zone in Berlin Siemensstadt 2.0 (2nd prize) and the winning proposal for an office building in Münster Hafen, which is currently under construction. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Association of Architects (Architektenkammer) of Berlin. Earlier, she worked as an architect at Drozdov&partners and, as a member of the NGO Urban Forms Center, developed and implemented educational projects.
In September 2022, she moved back to Ukraine and started teaching at the Kharkiv School of Architecture (KhSA). She is currently developing and teaching courses on Architectural Typologies and Project Studio for Urban Design and Planning at KhSA. She curated and organized the school's public program the for the academic year 2022-2023. As part of her educational activities, she developed and taught courses and design studios in cooperation with the Technical University of Berlin and the Bauhaus University in Weimar.
During her time working in Ukraine, she has completed several architectural projects and achieved award-winning competition proposals.
